George is based in London, UK, where he is the manager of offshore wind/renewables certification for ABS and has extensive experience of offshore wind farm certification and participation in the international IECRE certification system. He has extensive knowledge and experience of the offshore wind sector, as prior to joining ABS, George worked as a senior project engineer for DORIS UK, and prior to that he was with Loyd's Register for over 10 years, where amongst others he was responsible for the management of the ISO 17065 accredited and IECRE accepted certification body services for offshore windfarm project certification against the industry accepted certification standards of IECRE OD-502 and IEC 61400-22, as well as local requirements where applicable. George holds an MEng in Civil Engineering from Bristol University, and an MSc in Energy and Sustainability of Buildings from Southampton University.
