Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development for Energy and Economic Transition at the Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Energy auditor, graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology and the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology. He serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development for Energy and Economic Transformation at the Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, where he has been working since 2009.
He has played a leading role in the work of numerous teams developing studies related to energy in the Pomeranian region, conducted training in energy-related topics, including e.g. improving energy efficiency in industrial processes, thermal modernization, energy certificates, renewable energy sources, and more; for many years he has been involved in developing the assumptions and concepts of so-called “energy islands” and distributed energy, particularly in the Pomeranian region, and is currently responsible for implementing strategic projects such as the Pomeranian Archipelago of Energy Islands and the Pomeranian Hydrogen Valley.
Co-creator of the Pomeranian Offshore Wind Energy Development Platform on the Baltic Sea. Expert in project evaluation committees and advisory bodies, Chairman of the Energy Policy Team of the Association of Polish Voivodeships; initiator of group energy and gas purchases for local government units in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Previously, for nearly two decades, he was associated with the heating industry (now part of Tauron structures), where he supervised investments and overhauls of measuring equipment, conducted technical and economic analyses, and for several years served as operator of the district heating distribution system.
