Temat prelekcji: Circular economy in Offshore Wind industry

Dr. Joanna Czerepko is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk. The main subject of her research are ESG issues and consumer behavior, including those related to conscious consumption. To increase its interest in sustainable development, represented by, among others, by the acronym ESG, contributed a doctoral thesis in the field of demand analysis, during which she began to consider the problems of consumerism and external costs. The book written on the basis of the dissertation was awarded in 2023 by the University of Gdańsk Publishing House. In September 2023, Dr. Joanna Czerepko initiated the creation of the Pomeranian ESG Forum, the first meeting of which took place in the STARTER Incubator. Currently, she is focusing on the development of this project, the creation of postgraduate studies in the field of ESG and the further analysis of enterprises and consumers in the area covered by this acronym. She was professionally associated with the consulting industry, and currently participates in research projects and projects concerning cooperation between the university and its environment.
