Sylwia Łyskawka - a Managing Consultant for Environmental and Social Affairs at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, where she specializes in offshore wind energy and project financing in accordance with international standards.
Member of the Strategic Group for Marine Resources Management at the Africa-Europe Foundation and the International Innovation Council at the Ocean Technology Campus Rostock. Winner of the EU Young Ocean Advocate title awarded by the European Commission. Expert of the Climate Leadership program at UNEP/GRID–Warsaw. Member of the National Development Council to the President of the Republic of Poland.
In 2021-2022, Chairwoman of the Youth Climate Council - an advisory body to the Minister of Climate and Environment. She led the work of the working group as part of the team for ecological education, including climate education at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, creating the foundations for formal climate education in Poland. Young delegate of Poland at COP26 and COP28.
She also gained experience as an expert for the Committee of the Regions in strengthening local climate diplomacy. She graduated from BSc Marine Biology with Oceanography at the University of Southampton and MSc Water: Science and Governance at King’s College London.
